on my Dad:
He was able to come home today. Spoke with him about an hour ago and he is doing well - he sounds strong and is looking forward to sleeping in his own bed and being in his own house.

Thanks to Paulette Michele Murphy for averting another crisis... He was all set to go home but was waiting on one more test result. Doctor signed the discharge papers if the test was negative. A while later, he told him it was negative but for some reason it wasn't charted so the nurses said no go... he was staying. Paulette took charge, got the doctor on the phone, and got him discharged.
