2nd chemo treatment and March Madness
My dad's 2nd chemo treatment went well they increased the dose to 900 on
rituxan and 350 on bendamustine. We were worried about the increase but
so far no side effects. He is just a little tired this afternoon. He's
not happy that they have basketball on tv instead of Judge Judy. Other
than that, he is in good spirits.

Update on my Dad:
Update
on my Dad: Talked to my mom today and my dad continues to do very
well. He's a bit tired (not surprising). No nausea! Yesterday my
niece, Jennie John,
came up for a visit with her son, Chris. Here's my dad working with my
sister to free a Thomas the Train accessory from its packaging. And
here's a picture of my parents from today with two of the three great
grand kids. The baby is Paulette Michele Murphy's son, Noah. The preschooler is Chris.
Thank you to each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers.

First round of chemo
Report from my parents in NJ:
Just talked to my mom and dad. Firstly, my mom said to please tell all of you that she and my dad are eternally grateful for the thoughts and prayers. Secondly, my dad is doing amazingly well. In fact so well that he has a new perspective on life. He said he doesn't know what it was, the Reiki healing yesterday, the thoughts and prayers, but whatever it is, he is ready to take on life head on. He said before he just wanted to live for my mom, my niece, and little Noah. Now he wants to live for them but for him too! He wants to go see Grand Canyon (something he hasn't talked about doing in many years). He sounded stronger and more upbeat today than he has in a long time. Whatever it was, its absolutely amazing! THANK YOU everyone! Hugs!!!
I'm sorry, Dad - we never got to take you to the Grand Canyon. :(
